Cherry Blossom Portrait.
This scene was taken In Washington DC during Cherry Blossom season. This lone cherry blossom tree is one of my favorite scenes. If you position yourself right, you will get a nice glimpse of the Washington National Monument from across the tidal basin.
The cherry blossom season is HUGE here in Washington DC. One of the best times to visit, once the weather decides to cooperate. The scenes are exquisite and you can meet great people from all around the world. The 3 most famous monuments around the tidal basin are The Jefferson Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial, and Franklin D. Roosevelt memorial. The Lincoln Memorial is a short walk from the MLK monument and of course the National Monument area is there as well. A place where you can lay down a blanket and soak in the beauty of the cherry blossoms. Emmy Vickers,
