Stop - Cherry Blossoms Ahead. I wanted a unique scene with the beautiful cherry blossoms. When I saw this bright red stop sign and the cherry blossoms above it and behind it,I thought it was kind of different, hence, the title of this artwork is: Stop - Cherry Blossoms Ahead.
This scene was at the beautiful Kenwood community in Chevy Chase, MD. I heard about this last year and had to visit it. Come to find out this place is pretty famous as well. Because of the crowds, many folks will come here to Kenwood instead of the Tidal Basin in DC. Well - it was pretty busy here as well. Definitely worth the trip. Thank you to my husband, his support and patience, he dropped me off to walk and take pictures while he drove around and parked off at a distance until I was done. He is so supportive!!
The cherry trees and blossoms were exquisite. At times I felt I was in a Disney magical movie. An awesome first-time experience. Emmy Vickers,
