Description

This photo was taken while I was in DC photographing the MLK and FDR memorials (Jan 2014). Having stayed longer than expected, I decided to watch the sun go down. And what a treat that was! Mother Nature at her best! This scene was taken from West Potomac Park in DC across the way from the tidal basin. It was getting rather frigid, but well worth hanging out for. Enjoy. Emmy Vickers,
