Description
Water Lily Phenomenon ("as-is" photo with a very slight crop and a few tiny blemishes removed). What appears as a black background is actually the water. The strong sunlight and no reflection, caused a clear black background.
This flower is what they call a "tropical day-flowering waterlily," also known as nymphaea. Quite the colorful and vivacious flower! This scene was in a water lily and lily pad pond like I've never seen before. Where was this photo taken? At the famous Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. Longwood Gardens is considered one of the top 10 gardens in the country to visit. It was spectacular!
My neighbor and I took a day trip to these gardens; she has been several times. It was great having my own personal guide. We had a fantastic time together. This photo is great for living rooms, dens, offices, b&b's, hotel lobbies and rooms, and as a gift. Enjoy! Emmy Vickers,
