This amazing Catholic Cathedral and statue of Christ can be found in historical Mazatlan in Sinaloa, Mexico. It was a beautiful but very hot gorgeous sunny day, and I was touring downtown historical Mazatlan. Being Catholic and someone who loves visiting churches, the statue of Jesus Christ caught my eye. I went to check it out. The church is gorgeous and the statues outside amazing!!

Did you know the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is also known as the Mazatlan Cathedral? A bit easier to pronounce wouldn't you agree? I also learned this Church was built on the site of an ancient Indian temple. Lots of history and fun facts to learn. The stained glass windows stunning! A must see if you ever visit Mazatlan, Mexico. Emmy Vickers,
