Springtime at the Tidal Basin,
One of my favorite scenes is that of the Washington Monument amidst the beautiful cherry blossoms at the tidal basin in Washington, DC. It was a Friday afternoon and oh boy was it busy all around the basin. Music was playing, families and groups from all over picnicking on the grass, and people just having a good time. It's a blessing to be able to experience this each year. Emmy Vickers,
