Description
This powerful scene, called The Breadline, is part of the FDR Memorial located at the tidal basin in Washington, DC. The FDR memorial is large and has several different components. A must see for tourists and those who live in the area.
MOUSE - Story Art
This is near and dear to my heart, because ever since I was little, I always wanted to help the hungry. This statue tells a story even in today's times.
This is a reminder that poverty and hunger are still a huge problem, not only in the world, but in the United States of America! I hope this scene and my description empower those that see this, to do something to make a difference in helping the hungry and less fortunate! Emmy Vickers,
