Passing Through Harpers Ferry. I love trains! I spent a good half hour just hanging out at the historical Harpers Ferry Train depot to see what kind of scenes I can capture through my lens. This train was actually moving pretty fast. No, I was not on the railroad tracks, I was on the platform and with no tripod. I had to have very steady hands to capture this one. Trains were coming by almost every 10 minutes, so I was able to really play around with angles, close ups, as well as a bit more in the distance. Harpers Ferry is a great place bring the family and spend a half day touring and grabbing a bite to eat or an ice cream cone. Emmy Vickers,
