Budding Water Lily at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA (July 2015).
Two things make this scene special. This was my very first trip to the gardens and with my girlfriend/neighbor Julie. Second, there was no processing done to this scene. Every so often we get that special photo that looks like colors were changed and enhancements made. This is a "raw" photo taken on a beautiful warm, breezy July day. There was a very light "lightening/darkening," but that was it. Color is all natural which I thought was rather cool. This is a beautiful waterlily in a pond at the Longwood Gardens Conservatory.
