Gulf of Mexico View from Fort De Soto,
This beautiful scene was taken from the top of Fort De Soto at Fort De Soto Park in Pinellas County, Florida. It was a warm day in which the sun was in and out. I was waiting for just the right moment when the sun peaked out on the ocean. From where my husband and I stood, the scene of the Gulf of Mexico was vast and gorgeous.

Fort De Soto Park is a beautiful and very large county park. Surprisingly, I learned that it is a part of the boating community of Tierra Verde. It covers five islands and approximately 1,136 acres on the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay. A must see if you are ever in the Tampa, St. Petersburg areas of Florida. Emmy Vickers,
