This is a picture of one of the civil war cannons located at the Gettysburg battleground in Gettysburg, PA. The Battle of Gettysburg is one of the most important Civil War Battles in our history. It is also the most famous battle. This battle occurred over a three-day span in the summer of 1863. July 1 through July 3, 1863 to be exact. "This war turned out to be extremely significant in terms of putting an end to the Civil War, paving way for negotiations and furnishing the establishment of a democratic government."
