The Day After. This scene was taken on Friday, March 6, 2015, the day after a major snowstorm hit our area, Silver Spring, MD.
This is what is known as The Northwest Branch Trails. Many Silver Spring MD residents know about this wonderful place, while at the same time, it is still a hidden treasure for both locals and out of towners. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of this busy suburban area.
The trails run both north towards Wheaton and south into Prince Georges County.
This creek is beautiful all year long. It's located on Route 29 in Silver Spring. Along the trail it is very quiet and peaceful. I love the sounds of the water and the various birds that come through, A great place for photographers to enjoy nature and take pictures. Emmy Vickers,
