Pink Lotus Beauty,
This beauty is just beginning to open up. The sun is out and the tropical lotus flowers are blooming. It was a beautiful summer day. No humidity, sun coming in and out, and there was a wonderful breeze throughout the day. A perfect day to walk the trails and view the many ponds that house these gorgeous lotus flowers. Where is this? Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in Washington, DC. Today I saw bald eagles, a blue heron, a green heron, white egrets, and the big surprise ... two roseate spoonbills. So much fun!
