These four gorgeous musical mechanical instruments are housed in the famous Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum located in beautiful Rüdesheim, Germany.

I LOVED this museum and I LOVED the quaint town of Rüdesheim. The address of the museum is 65385 Rüdesheim am Rhein, Germany; just in case you might want to add to your bucket list of places to visit.

Siegfried’s Mechanical Instrument museum is a must see. The only way to see and experience this unique and "quirky" museum is through a tour guide. Tour Guides are right there onsite awaiting your arrival. This scene shows you just a few of my favorite mechanical instruments. The cool thing about this tour, we actually had the opportunity to see AND hear many of the large collection of hand-cranked carnival instruments, music boxes (some were quite unusual), self-playing calliopes, and antique orchestrions, We were told that these instruments are mostly the 18th-to-20th centuries.

The collection in this wondrous museum are said to have been "amassed by Siegfried Wendel, who since the 1960’s has been restoring discarded automatic musical instruments of all kinds." Can you believe that? Discarded instruments. This was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. This scene I captured is great for your dining room, living room, den, or office.
