My Ten Foot Shadow 2,
What? A ten foot shadow of a 4'10" person? Yup - that's me!!
My Ten Foot Shadow 2 was taken at the Smithsonian National Zoo on a beautiful sunny fall afternoon (11-11-2014). We had 72-73 degrees in Washington, DC. I was wearing my sweater around my waste, and as I was walking I suddenly noticed this very tall shadow in front of me. It was my shadow! It stood out to me because it was so tall and slim. I thought that was pretty cool being that I am only 4 feet 10 inches tall and not so skinny. Hence, that is how I came up with the title. I thought it was ironic given my height and build. A cool fun moment while at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC. Emmy Vickers,
