This beauty was contemplating flying. Notice the left wing sticking out. He did this a couple of times before he actually decided to fly to another location.

The pelican birds are so much fun to watch and photograph. The brown pelicans are also known as pelecanus occidentalis.

This scene was taken at the Fort De Soto Gulf Pier in Pinellas County, Florida. A great place to hang out for a few hours. Emmy Vickers,
