Lion Licking His Chops,
Known as king of the jungle, this beauty had just laid down to chill. He was cleaning his paws, hence the licking of his chops. Happy to see people again since the pandemic. He was checking out all the onlookers oohing and aaahhing over his beauty and personality.
It was a beautiful Thursday afternoon; mid 80's and no humidity. This large cat was enjoying the son. This beauty and several other amazing animals can be seen at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, DC. Enjoy! Emmy Vickers,
