Green Heron in the Spotlight,
I took this wildlife photo at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, Maryland towards the end of the day. The Green Heron is a small "wading" bird. So often you will see them crouched over waiting patiently for that delicious snack, a fish of some kind. As you can see this beauty was very focused and waiting patiently. Fun to observe.
