Emmy, if the first rule in photography is all about catching the light ... I'd say you did so perfectly!!!!! VERY beautiful photography!!!!

Wow, thanks so much Lois. I am thrilled you caught the "light" importance. Yes, this particular scene was all about catching the sunlight on this very important and historic DC monument. I also wanted to capture the peacefulness of the scene as well. I had to kneel down on both knees (have meniscus tear in both) to capture this. Also, this was a family outing, so this scene and moment has great meaning to me. Thank you so much for the compliment and your support! Means a lot to me!!
