I had the honor of attending the historical event of baby Bao Bao the panda's first birthday celebration at the National Zoo (08/23/20140). She is quite the climber as you can tell in this scene. Her cake is a frozen cake of vegetables and fruits. In the cake and between the layers were special treats for Bao Bao to enjoy as well. She is entertaining and at times hysterical to watch. Every second made a difference as you will see in other photos. I had some missed opportunities, but I also had great ones as well.
This is event is a photographer's dream to experience. It truly was a fun, relaxing, blessed and joyous occasion. I am thrilled to be able to say hubby and I were there. Enjoy. Emmy Vickers,
